Puppet Team

Acts of Faith exists as a resource for churches, predominantly within the Horsham area, to use for Sunday School, Youth groups, Family Services and Outreach. We perform a variety of songs and sketches and aim to challenge existing believers to grow in their faith, as well as offering a gospel message to non-believers. We work closely with puppet teams from other churches in the area to support activities such as those arranged by Horsham Churches Together.

We believe that puppetry is a valuable tool for reaching people with the gospel, as it appeals to all ages, and can be both fun and challenging at the same time. The team regularly performs at "Life", the Horsham Family Fun Day in the park, and various other churches, youth groups, nursing homes and so on. Since forming in 2001 the team has won or been placed in competitions at a number of Regional and European puppet festivals.

For the future we hope to have more opportunities to take part in street outreach, and possibly to make ourselves available for school assemblies. We are always happy to discuss opportunities to perform, and ask only for a contribution towards our travelling expenses, although gifts are always welcome towards our running costs.
