After each talk there is a small-group time for everyone to discuss any questions or issue they have. This gives an opportunity to get to know each other and to learn together.

When and Where?

Different courses run at different times in different places. Generally, an Alpha course consists of 10 weekly sessions each lasting just over two hours. This includes half an hour for the meal, followed by a talk or a video (which is a video of a talk!). The Alpha course is free, although sometimes a donation towards the meal is requested.

Please contact a member of the leadership team if you would like more information or would like to go on a course. Everybody is welcome.

The Way Of The Spirit

A Bible reading course written by John MacKay. It is divided into four sections. Each of which includes one gospel, (Matthew, Mark, Luke or John), plus old and New Testament books. Each section has a workbook, a commentary, and a set of CDs. The idea is to meet in a group and cover a set amount of reading with questions, then listen to a short teaching CD and discuss the answers together. It is not an academic course, and it encourages people to grow in their faith by drawing out spiritual revelation. The four sections cover the whole bible when completed.
