Hello. I though it would be nice to give an update of the Lord's work in Bristol.

For the past year i have led (with 2 others) a small Christian fellowship in my hall of residence. We have seen the Lord move, and He has used us greatly. For instance in February we decided to have an 'open meeting' where anyone could come along. We didn't expect too many people to come, but praise Jesus that we had more people than we had chairs for. ALL year i have been praying that we'd run out of chairs, and the Lord did it that week. Praise God! About 15 non-Christians got to hear the Gospel. 2 weeks ago us 3 stopped leading the fellowship, and passed the batton onto 2 others. They are Helen and Josh, and are keen to follow the Lord. Please pray for them that they would see more fruit.

My church has also been a real encouragement. It's motto is Matthew 6:33 - "Seek First the kingdom of God and His righteousness", and for the past few weeks, the Lord has especially spoken to me though this scripture. I find myself applying it to everything, even with being told off on my course. Seek First, and if God wants me on my course, then He'll sort it out... Do you see the logic? It works, and i highly recommend it.

One final thing is that I feel (and this isn't recent) very motivated towards mission. I'm so pleased that the church is working in Ciocana soon, and in Malcoci in the summer. We should constantly be SEEKING the Lord's work. It's no good waiting to be called. God's already done that in His Word. Has He CALLED you to stay at home and do nothing? I don't think so. Think what you can be DOING for the Lord's work, whatever your situation is. If you step out in faith, EXPECTING God to work through you, He will. That's how the apostles saw it. Don't wait, go now Very Happy

Be seeing you on Sunday 25th. Missing you all loads, and can't wait to see you.

With every blessing, Pauly
