Mark : The Good News about Jesus
This term, we are joining with Jesus throughout his ministry, from calling to teaching, from healings to his death, and of course, ending with the greatest news of all – Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.
The Book is Mark is just 16 chapters long, and only takes 2 hours to read or watch. But it contains the most powerful message of all, “the good news about Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Son of God” (Mark 1:1). Week by week, we will be exploring each chapter of Mark, culminating with the Mark 16’s resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday.
Each Sunday, we will be exploring part of the chapter, but I encourage you to read the whole chapter for yourself, and ask the Lord, “what is it you want to say to me today?” The weekly teaching will be accompanied by the Digging Deeper resources on the website and conversations in Life Groups.
