CHILDREN & YOUTH GROUPS
It’s about people coming together and knowing the One who gives us life.
At LIFE we seek to provide youngsters with varied groups through which they can have fun learning about Jesus, and grow in their relationship with Him. Our children and young people’s work is called ‘Living Stones’ based on 1Peter 2:4-6.
Activities include bible study, games, drama, craft, music, discussion and prayer. We also aim to nurture the children and young people’s own interests and talents and to help them feel a valued part of the church family.
We take the welfare of our youngsters seriously – our leaders are expected to agree to sound principles of childcare and complete necessary Child Protection and Disclosure & Barring Service procedures. We are registered with Due Diligence Checking
Children’s Groups
On 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays, our children join the rest of the church for worship and then they go out to their groups.
Little Gems
The babies and children’s group up to 2 years old are known as: ‘LITTLE GEMS’
Pebbles
In our ‘PEBBLES’ group children from
2 to about 5 years old, including children with special needs learn all about God’s love through play, games, crafts and songs.
Stepping Stones
Our ‘STEPPING STONES’’ group is for primary children in school years 1 to 6 and learn about what it means to be a Christian through a wide range of activities.
