As I reflected on this photograph I took earlier in the week near Warnham Park, I thought of someone who is tired and weary, battered by life’s storms. Yet I see this photograph as an image of hope, not despair. The central hearth is standing firm, and with an act of great love, the fire could be rekindled once more, bringing life to the whole building, sparking a restoration that could transform this broken soul into a source of warmth and hospitality.
