CONFIDENCE through being Convinced
Confidence
TEACHING SERIES: “CONFIDENCE”
In theory, we all know we can be confident in our faith, and when we’re gathered together with other Christians, we often feel full of confidence. But when daily life hits, it can all drain away! How can we change that, with God’s help?
THE KEYS TO FINDING FRONTLINE CONFIDENCE: In this series we’ll be looking how to grow deep faith-confidence that lasts from Sunday into the rest of our week, and boldly join in God’s work right where we are.
This week, in the first of the series, we will be looking at ‘Confidence through being Convinced’: We grow in confidence on our frontlines when we are convinced of the truth of the gospel, God’s word, and God’s character.
SCRIPTURE: Romans 8:37–38 states: ‘No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord’. Are we similarly ‘Convinced’?
