This week, Daniel has a vision of a great war between rival kingdoms. But for Daniel, it was a far off, distance future. For us, it’s merely history. Which prompts the question, why should I be bothered? Why should I care about history? Why should I care about future generations? Why should I care about the geo-political forces of far-away nations? Does God really care? And is God sovereign over evil governments and dictators?
