As we continue our series: “Living His Story”, based on Hannah Steele’s book, we’ll be “Catching up with God” and exploring God’s mission in the world and our involvement in that mission. Our role is to respond to what God has initiated and to partner with the Holy Spirit.  We’ll be asking: what might God be initiating in your life and your confidence to join in?

Questions for Reflection

1. Have you ever felt you were just the person God wanted in a particular situation? Did later events confirm that in some way?
2. How do you think you might become more aware of God at work in relationships and conversations you are involved in?
3. Who might be regarded as ‘the least’, ‘the lost’ and ‘the law-breaker’ in your community, area, workplace (or even closer to home)?
4. How can you connect the story of the gospel to people in your local community?

Challenge

Pray for the Lord to  open the eyes of people’s hearts and speak to them. Who can you pray for in your community who doesn’t know Jesus (neighbours, family, friends etc.)?
