Welcome to our new summer teaching series, Unsung Heroes of the Faith. Over the summer, we’ll be meeting seven people from the Bible, who put their faith into practice, to letting their faithfulness shine bright.

10th July – Naaman, the commander of the Syrian army, who visited Elisha, seeking healing from leprosy (2 Kings 5, Luke 4)

17th July – Rahab, the prostitute who helped save the spies in Jericho (Joshua 2, Joshua 6, James 2)

24th July – Hannah, who struggled with infertility, and so called out to the Lord in her distress (1 Samuel 1)

31st July – Abigail, who was a peacemaker between King David and her husband, Nabal (1 Samuel 25)

7th August – LIFE in the Community, taking a break from the series for conversations in local cafes and a walk, talk and pray around the local area.

14th August – Micaiah, a prophet in Israel, who was imprisoned for speaking truth to power (1 Kings 22, 2 Chronicles 18)

21th August – Jethro, a Midianite priest who became the father in law of Moses, giving him wise advice in the workplace (Exodus 18)

28th August – Josiah, the young king of Judah, who restored the worship of the LORD in Israel (2 Kings 22-23, 2 Chronicles 34-45)
