Get Ready – Sermon Series: On the night before Jesus was crucified, He shared a meal with His disciples, and taught them to get ready for the journey ahead, to step forward as a band of disciples led by the Holy Spirit. In this series, we listen to Jesus’ words once more, learning how to walk as disciples in the whole of our lives.

This week: we reflect on Jesus washing the feet of His disciples John 13:1-17. Unearthing an expectation that His followers will have dirty feet – or be wearing muddy boots in today’s metaphor, boots that reflect our walk with Jesus as we serve those around us and leave Christ’s footprint on our frontline cultures. We will look at how Jesus served others throughout His life so that we can serve others through His love.
